About me

I’ve been writing professionally since 2018 and telling stories my whole life.

I’m a Midwest native who spent 18 years living on the East Coast, mostly in Brooklyn, NY. In 2017, I traded subway commutes and excellent bagels for outdoor space and family when I returned to Columbus. I live with my husband, two boys, and a dachshund-schnauzer named Rufus. I have boring middle-aged hobbies like knitting and sourdough making—but I’m also ready to belt out a karaoke song at a moment’s notice. I’m a certified yoga and meditation instructor, which means I can both stand on my head and sit very still.

I’ve worked for organizations including the Center for Court Innovation in New York City, Citizen Schools in Boston, and (614) magazine in Columbus as the Editor in Chief. Currently, I work in development at the Wexner Center for the Arts. I have a B.A. in writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a M.Ed. from Lesley University.
